Solutions for BP Oil Spill - US South Coast

Here are faxes I sent in early June 2010 to the BP spill suggestion website and to US President Obama.  http://www.parkfoto.com/blogfiles/bpspillsolutions.pdf   I felt I had to do something since BP was not solving the issue fast enough according to all the news reports at that time.

They have implemented part 1 for pipe collection chimney, and I think they should use part  2 to cap it. For part 2 ( a weighted, giant hypodermic filled with sealant activated by saltwater/oil - eg drainpipe RTV sealant or even PL2000 sealant that is water cured and you can buy at any hardware store ). I would add equipment to level the device (use seawater to inflate/deflate leg pistons) and extra big landing pads (like lunar module of 1970s) to keep it from sinking into the mud. The top weight should be suspended from above by extending the support bars above the weight so that the top weight can hang from a chain and the explosive bolt can be moved to the top to prevent jamming ).

I think a majority of the fines arising from the spill  should be donated for wildlife rehabilitation costs and  also donated to wildlife protection groups like World Wildlife Fund,  International  Federation for Animal Welfare and World Society for  Protection of Animals.
